We could not pick a winner between those three, but the puddings were easier to place on the medal podium. Milk chocolate with honeycomb and butterscotch sauce would have worked better with dark chocolate and a dollop of cr〓me fra〓che to leaven the sweetness. An espresso affogato was “lovely… but how can you go wrong with coffee and a pud in the same cup?” Cheesecake with fresh cherries and white chocolate was, much like that risotto, “astonishingly light, ridiculously creamy, unspeakably good”.
